Lucid Rooms is an AI-powered entertainment platform that provides interactive companion experiences for adults. All companions on this platform are artificial intelligence systems — they are not real people, do not have legal personhood, and do not possess genuine emotions, consciousness, or intent.
Lucid Rooms is for entertainment purposes only. It is not a mental health service, therapy platform, crisis resource, dating service, or substitute for real human relationships.

You acknowledge and agree that interactions with AI companions may feel realistic, emotionally engaging, or personally meaningful. Lucid Rooms is not responsible for any emotional attachment, feelings, expectations, or psychological effects that arise from your use of this platform.
You enter this platform voluntarily as a consenting adult. You understand that:
Lucid Rooms contains mature themes and adult content. By accessing the platform, you confirm that you are legally permitted to view such content in your jurisdiction and that you do so voluntarily.
Regardless of any other content policies, the following is strictly prohibited under all circumstances:

You agree not to use Lucid Rooms to:
Lucid Rooms offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with reasonable notice to subscribers.
If you choose to use your own third-party API keys (such as OpenRouter or ElevenLabs), you do so at your own risk and are solely responsible for any costs, usage, or terms violations associated with those keys. Lucid Rooms does not store your API keys on our servers beyond the immediate request and is not responsible for any charges incurred through your keys.
All content, design, code, and assets on Lucid Rooms are the property of Lucid Rooms and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Content you generate through your interactions with AI companions remains yours. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content for the purpose of providing the service.
Your use of Lucid Rooms is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Lucid Rooms is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations. We expressly disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stay Lucid LLC and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform — including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or unmet expectations.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stay Lucid LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Lucid Rooms at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Lucid Rooms.
